The spacers enable the mirror to be mounted with a wall distance of 30 mm. Many mirrors, especially in bathrooms, are equipped with lighting elements. The electric installations required for this purpose are usually concealed behind the mirror. If the wall distance is too small, tensions can build up that affect the durability of the lipped plates.
