The drop-down seal reliably prevents the spread of sound, draughts and odours. When the glass door is closed, the release button on one side is actuated, the rubber lip lowers and closes the gap between the edge of the glass door and the floor by up to 11 mm
The drop-down seal is ideally suited for retrofitting all doors with a glass thickness of 6 mm or more. It can be easily be made shorter to the required door width, but the minimum length should be observed. The self-adhesive silver-coloured strip decoratively conceals the adhesive surface of the drop-down seal.
Application note:
The rubber lip should be shortened to the frame rebate dimension and, when lowered, should lie completely against a flat, smooth surface. The distance between the bottom edge of the glass and the floor is 10 mm.
