The ball catch is ideal for hinged glass doors that do not require a latch but still need to be closed firmly. This is achieved with the nylon spring ball, which sits in a housing made of nickel-plated die-cast zinc and thus enables the door to close easily.
The glass door opens and closes almost silently. The screw-on plate is fastened with two screws and is hardly visible when installed.
The contact pressure of the glass door on the ball can be adjusted as desired using a screw on the underside of the catch. The depth of the ball can be adjusted between 3 and 10 mm to optimally close the air gap between the door and the rebate. The material is wear and corrosion resistant.
Application note:
When using the ball catch with aluminium frame FrameTec Select 2.0, the maximum glass thickness of the side part is 10.76 mm.
Make sure that there is no contact between the metal housing of the ball catch and the glass side part.
