The Alva self-closing corner fitting allows for quick installation without the need for an elaborate floor recess. The entire hydraulic system for the self-closing function is housed in the slim fitting itself. By means of a base plate, the fitting is fastened to the substrate with only two screws.

The fitting with closing force EN 5 has the same dimensions of 184 x 70 mm as the corner fitting EN 3 and therefore ensures a uniform appearance for doors of different sizes in a room. It is particularly suitable for wide and heavy doors.
To ensure that the holes in the substrate can be drilled comfortably, the distance between the wall and the first hole in the mounting plate is 29 mm, thus providing sufficient space for the drilling machine. The closing speed and latching action are infinitely adjustable. The design of the fitting is particularly clear and reduced to the essentials. Thanks to the innovative plug-in fastening, there are no visible screws or fastening points on the cover caps of the corner fitting and the base plate. Black inserts that create the impression of a shadow gap underline the high-quality look. Alva has been tested for long life and outstanding functionality according to European standards, corresponding to DIN EN 1154
Application note:
We cannot recommend use with laminated safety glass. Due to the low thickness of the individual panes and the point load in the area of the glass cut-out when tightening the screws, the glass may break.
