The Alva self-closing corner fitting allows for quick installation without the need for an elaborate floor recess. The entire hydraulic system for the self-closing function is housed in the slim fitting. By means of a base plate, the fitting is fastened to the substrate with only two screws.
With outstanding features such as the convenient mounting options and the clear design, the Alva corner fitting is one of the best in its class. To ensure that drilling into the substrate can be carried out comfortably, the distance between the wall and the first hole in the mounting plate is 29 mm, providing sufficient space for the drilling machine. The closing speed and the end stop are infinitely adjustable. The design of the fitting is particularly clean and reduced to the essentials. Thanks to the innovative plug-in fastening, there are no visible screws or fastening points on the cover caps of the corner fitting and the base plate. Black inserts that create the impression of a shadow gap underline the high-quality look. The self-closing corner fitting with closing force EN 3 is suitable for the majority of standard glass doors.
Application note:
We cannot recommend use with laminated safety glass. Due to the low thickness of the individual panes and the point load in the area of the glass cut-out when tightening the screws, the glass may break.
