The integrated operating hours counter helps to check the life expectancy of the lamp, as the loss of UV power is not visually detectable. The lamp reaches full output after a few minutes of warm-up. If it is switched off, it cannot be switched on again until it has cooled down. It is therefore advisable to leave the lamp switched on until the planned bonding has been carried out. Due to its radiation field, the hand-held lamp is also suitable for curing edge bonding up to 40 cm in length. If the lamp is positioned at an appropriate distance, uniform curing is guaranteed.
