With the Scratch Away® abrasive paste and the accompanying utensils, you can remove deep scratches in 4 steps.
Step 1: Apply black Scratch Away® grinding paste 93120 (BO 5300917) to the red Scratch Away® Ø 25 mm grinding head 93063 (BO 5300918) and grind the glass surface, eventually achieving the same depth as the scratches. Set the speed of your Scratch Away® SAW360 machine to level 1.
Step 2: A clean metal grinding pad (BO 5300912) and red Scratch Away® polishing compound 93110 (BO 5300913) are needed to even out the depth difference. Set the speed of your Scratch Away® SAW360 machine to level 3.5.
Step 3: A clean metal grinding pad (BO 5300912) and pink Scratch Away® polishing compound 93100 (BO 5300916) are needed to even out the depth difference. Set the speed of your Scratch Away® SAW360 machine to level 3.5.
Step 4: Use the Scratch Away® polishing pad (BO 5300911) to polish the entire surface clear again. Set the speed of your Scratch Away® SAW360 machine to level 3.5.
For deeper scratches, make sure there is enough space to include adjacent areas.
