The DC10SB quick charger is suitable for batteries of the CXT series with 12 V max. or 10.8 V (compatible with, among others, the Makita battery BL1040B BO 5300114).
Thanks to a cooling system, the battery is cooled during charging to achieve a fast charge and improve performance. After a successful charge, an optional melody sounds that can be customised. The clear status area on the quick charger gives information about the charge level of the battery, the readiness of the quick charger or about a malfunction. The melody after the charging process is completed can be adjusted.
To deactivate or change the melody, proceed as follows:
1. Insert the battery into the charging slot. The last melody set is played briefly.
2. Pull the battery out of the charger within five seconds and reinsert it. A new melody is activated. With each additional removal and reinsertion within five seconds, the next melody is activated. When the desired melody is active, leave the battery inserted to start charging. When a short beep is played, no melody is emitted. (Silent mode) The set melody remains stored even if the charger is disconnected from the power source.
