Provided with a special microstructure, cutting wheels of the Cutmaster® Platinum series achieve excellent cutting results with minimal edge damage even at low cutting forces.
Cutting wheels of the Cutmaster® Platinum series are available in carbide (HM) and polycrystalline diamond (PCD). The cutting wheels are always labelled with the cutting edge angle to avoid confusion during use.
Due to the special arrangement of the structure, the cutting wheel only penetrates the glass surface selectively. There is no continuous scribe mark. Accompanying jumps or damage deviating from the scribe line are effectively avoided and edge damage is reduced to a minimum.
In addition to classic applications such as float glass cutting, Cutmaster® Platinum is used in particular for cutting high-quality special glass: from sensors to solar glass, optical filters and quartz glass. Even ultra-thin glass can be cut safely and precisely.
