The Alva self-closing corner fitting enables quick installation without the need for time-consuming floor recesses. The entire hydraulic system for the self-closing function is housed in the slim fitting. The fitting is fixed to the floor with screws using a base plate.

The distance between the wall and the first hole in the mounting plate is 29 mm, providing sufficient space for the drill, so that holes can be drilled into the substrate with ease. The closing speed and latching action are infinitely adjustable. The design of the fitting is particularly clean and reduced to the essentials. Thanks to the innovative plug-in fixing system, there are no visible screws or fixing points on the cover caps of the corner fitting and the base plate. Black inserts, which create the impression of a shadow gap, emphasise the high-quality look. Alva is certified to DIN EN 1154 in accordance with European standards for long service life and outstanding functionality. The self-closing corner fitting with EN 3 closing force is suitable for the majority of standard glass doors.

Application note:
We cannot recommend use with laminated safety glass. Due to the low thickness of the individual panes and the point load in the area of the glass cut-out when tightening the screws, the glass may break.
