This ball catch is ideal for pivot glass doors which do not require a locking mechanism but should have the option to close tightly. This is achieved with the aid of the nylon spring ball, located in a nickel-plated die-cast zinc housing, which enables the smooth closing of the door. The material is wear and corrosion resistant. The contact pressure of the glass door against the ball can be adjusted as desired with the aid of a screw at the bottom side of the catch. The ball depth can be adjusted between 3 and 10 mm to close the air gap between door and rebate in an optimum way. The glass door can be opened and closed almost noiselessly. The ball catch and the mounting plate are fixed with two screws and are barely visible once mounted.
Mounting instructions for the FrameTec Select 2.0 glass partitioning system:

When installed together with a sidelight, only 8-10 mm glass (tempered/laminated safety glass) can be used.
Make sure that the metal housing of the ball catch and the glass sidelight do not touch.
After mounting the sidelight, the screw for adjusting the spring force is no longer accessible.
