Bohle AG continues to develop the self-closing corner fitting Alva EN3. The focus of the optimised fitting for glass doors is on the new opening damping, the convenient attachment of the base plate and the refined design, which is now particularly quick to install.
While the predecessor model of the self-closing corner fitting was already distinguished by the fact that no floor recess is required, the installation of the base plate is now even easier: on one hand, the new base plate only requires two instead of four screws with the same stability; on the other hand, the distance between the wall and the first hole is a full 29 mm and thus offers sufficient space for attaching the drilling machine. This is followed by the usual fine adjustment of the horizontal alignment and the zero position.
In a second version of the Alva EN3 BC corner fitting, Bohle AG has integrated an adjustable opening damper, also called Back Check. It ensures that gusts of wind or the momentum of a violent door opening are safely and gently absorbed. This protects the wall and glass door and is therefore particularly recommended for adjacent walls. The opening damping starts at an opening angle of approx. 70° and is infinitely adjustable.
The design of Alva is also impressive. Thanks to a new, clever plug-in fastening, the fitting has no visible screws or fastening points on the cover caps and base plate. Black inserts, which create the impression of a shadow gap, also emphasise the high-quality look.
Alva EN3 is certified according to DIN EN 1154 European standards for long life and outstanding functionality.
