These coarse grit, waterproof abrasive belts are especially suitable for thick glass. They contain silicon carbide abrasive particles in a hollow spherical compound which break up during the grinding process. Coarse grits (up to 120) have a synthetic support material; fine grits (150 and above) have a cotton support material.

These belts grind approx. 2 grades coarser than standard belts.
